These are the rules for using tokenthrift.io. By using the site you agree to them. Last updated October 15, 2026.
Deals
Every deal is checked on the vendor's own page before we publish it. Vendors change prices and offers without telling us, so check the vendor's page before you buy. Some links earn us a commission. Sponsored placements are labeled.
Posting on Ask
- Post only about your own work and what you saw first-hand.
- Don't post anything your employer or a client would consider confidential, or anyone's personal details.
- Don't post ads, links to your own product, or anything unlawful.
- One handle per person. Don't pose as someone else.
You keep the rights to what you write. By posting, you let us publish it, redact it, and use it in anonymous summaries and reports that combine at least 5 handles. We can decline or remove any post.
Your posts are your responsibility
You alone decide what to post, and you are responsible for it. That includes anything about your employer, its clients or its plans. Token Thrift doesn't check whether you're allowed to share something, and isn't responsible if you share what you shouldn't. Our redaction check helps, but it can miss things.
If what you post leads to a claim against Token Thrift, you agree to cover our costs from that claim, as far as the law allows.
You agree to these terms when you sign in. We record the date and the version you agreed to. Follow-up questions and answers are posts too: they are published under the reply unless the replier answers privately.
Anonymity
We publish replies under a handle, never with your email, and we remove names, places and exact figures before anything is saved. The details are on the privacy page. We work hard at this, but we can't promise that nobody could ever guess who wrote something. You decide what to share.
Don't try to find out who is behind a handle, or use a follow-up question to get someone's contact details.
No scraping
Search engines and AI assistants may read and link to our pages. Don't copy Ask replies in bulk, scrape them into a dataset, or use them to train a model or build a product. Don't use bots to post, react or sign up.
Summaries of public sources
Topic summaries are written by our research agent from public sources and linked to every source. They are not first-hand experience, and nothing on the site is legal, security or financial advice.
Limits
The site is provided as it is. We are not liable for decisions made from what you read here, or for a vendor's offer changing.
Changes
If we change these terms, we update this page and the date above.
