Token Thrift is run by Seth Gagnon.

The main part is Ask. It started from a simple thought: we can't be the only ones out there solving this problem. People rolling out AI at work compare notes anonymously on what it costs after the pilot, how security review works and who governs it, so you can learn what other teams actually do without exposing yourself or your company. Replies are posted under a random handle, and a model removes names, employers and exact figures before anything is saved. That lowers the risk but isn't a guarantee; the privacy page has the details.

Alongside Ask, Token Thrift keeps a directory of AI tool deals and startup credit programs, each checked on the vendor's own page (see how we check), and sends one email a week.
