How we check

Every deal and startup credit program on Token Thrift is checked against the vendor's own page. The most recent check was on .

The morning check

  • An automated routine runs every morning. It opens each vendor page and compares it with the listing: the offer, the price or credit amount, any end date, and who qualifies.
  • If something changed, the listing is updated. If an offer is gone or can't be confirmed, it comes off the directory.
  • Every change goes in as a pull request, which has to pass the site's automated tests before it goes live. The live site is checked again after each update.
  • Some vendor pages block automated reads. Those are opened and checked by hand.

What the dates mean

Each deal page shows when the deal was added and when it was last checked. Each credit program shows its last checked date, and the same data is public at credits.json.

What each morning's check looked at and changed is in the check log.

The vendor page is the final word

Terms can change between checks, and programs review applications and can say no. Always confirm on the vendor's page before you buy or apply. Every listing links to it.
